You guys know how much I love a neutral wardrobe, but sometimes, it’s necessary to shake things up. I am trying to embrace color more so I thought fall would be the perfect time to make that transition. If you’re feeling the same way, today’s post is dedicated to fall 2018 color trends! I’m suspecting colors will be bolder and brighter than anything before. Fortunately, we have a broad spectrum to pick from. You can venture off into bright neon hues, stay in the muted zone, or wear a combination of both like me.

Below, I’ve selected six of my favorite colors, 3 of which are safe and 3 that are louder. In the safe zone, we have rust, olive, and mustard – colors that are inspired by the wild west and 70’s. These colors can be styled as neutrals but unlike neutrals, they have the power to warm up any look. The perfect example is this marigold-colored sweater from Amo. As soon as I set eyes on it, I knew I had to have it. It was the perfect shade for me because it’s not too bright and at the same time slightly muted.

On the vivid end, there’s fuchsia, red, and silver. If I could only pick one color to be fall’s biggest hit, it would def be fuchsia. I just know all fashion girls will be wearing it if they already aren’t. Silver will be huge because sequins and anything glittery are majorly trending right now. And red just doesn’t seem to be going away!
