Every time I visit New York I get such a sense of amazement from the endless swarms of people and their diverse fashion styles. There’s nowhere more fashionable than Fifth Avenue. I love coming here even if I’m not planning on buying something. Fortunately, on this particular day I did “have” to do a little shopping. I needed an outfit for the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party which meant I really had to find the perfect dress since this is one of the most exclusive fashion week parties. I wore this gorgeous black dress with red floral appliqué that I felt was the perfect look for the venue: the iconic Plaza Hotel. You can see my full look here.

If you follow me on Snapchat (@pamhetlinger) then you probably saw the highlights of the event, which included star-studded guests (like Gigi and Kendall!) and a performance by Katy Perry. It was truly a remarkable night that would only happen in New York City.
