It’s Friday! Today I’m doing something a little different, rather than posting another look, I thought it would be fun to show you some of my favorite items right now.

This olive sweater has been on repeat for several days. Clearly, I’m into the military trend right now as you’ve seen here and here. I’m already planning on wearing this sweater this weekend with some black skinny jeans and these boots from Reiss.

Also, I’ve been spending a lot of time (probably too much time) in front of our fake fireplace (see pic below). I got these candles from Crate Barrel and a candlelight holder similar to this one the other day to create this cozy little space. It’s crazy how much more relaxed I felt after just sitting there for a couple of minutes. As for the books, I’ve had these for a while. I totally recommend getting a few to decorate your coffee table and of course, I grabbed some flowers!

Is anybody doing something fun this weekend? I’m very excited to celebrate my husband’s birthday, we actually decided we are going to celebrate our birthdays together next weekend(mine is Nov 26 – Happy Thanksgiving and Happy birthday to me!) we still have to figure out all of the logistics, like the place, what I’m going to wear (most important thing, of course :) etc. I’ll keep you guys posted!
