Finding the right pants that fit can be challenging when you’re petite. It happens to be one of my favorite fashion pieces for exaggerating my height and flattering my legs! 1. Wide Leg Pants
The outfit featured today is a classic example of how petite girls can rock wide leg pants to their advantage. And the entire look is from River Island. Wide leg pants are perfect for shorter girls because they sit high on the waist and extend past your feet so you can complement it with heels. I always tuck in my top to highlight my waist.
2. Tapered Pants
Another style I am a huge fan of are tapered pants. The leg style is looser around the thighs then tapers off at the ankles. The trick to making this style work is picking one that cuts off slightly above the ankle. It’s a perfect style to wear with high-heeled sandals and a ruffle blouse.
3. Cropped and Culottes
Crops and culottes boast wide pant legs that cut off below the knees. You can pick the right pair for your height by checking to see that it cuts off midway at the calves or several inches above the ankles. Adding the right proportions like a fitted top and nude heels will cure all your woes with culottes.
4. Skinny or Cigarette Trousers
Skinny and cigarette style pants aren’t as popular these days, but don’t underestimate them. They are great for creating a streamlined, sleek outfit. As the saying goes, when in doubt, wear all black. This style looks best with classic pumps or booties.
